We’ve been tasked with giving a presentation about an animator from our country of origin. My favourite animation that has come out of Britain is the work of Small Films, the production company created by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin.

My focus is on their work from 1969 to 1974, especially Bagpuss and The Clangers, two series that I remember loving as a child, and which still have a big influence on the population of Britain today.
