I improved my 4-legged walk

and i made a gif but wordpress won’t let me post it

i added a rough skeleton inside him and it looks like a robot

it’s cool

i’ve added movement to his hips and shoulders and head, and finished the movement on the tail. i also picked up the legs a bit so he looks less like he’s sliding around on an ice rink

i watched my reference video some more and one of the best things about the way an opossum walks is how far they reach out with their front paws to take a step

their front paws also look like little tiny hands wearing fingerless gloves

i wanna capture that but it’s trrrickkyyy

This was an initial skeleton from when I started working on shoulder n hip movement, before I’d changed the actual opossum
rough opossum version 2: robo-possum (added movement in the hips & shoulders & head, & i added a frame :> giving it a loosey goosey skeleton helped me wake it up a bit)

i have returned here is the gif ^ i’m going to change the timing on the nearest fore-paw so he doesn’t look like he’s limping anymore

and try to slow down the reach forward maybe? i’m not sure. i wanna add the little paws too.

then i’m gonna try n make the lines cleaner and colour him in ayyyyyy
