Mark Rothko

i find this painting comforting

i also learned:

  • warm colours come forward cold colours go back
  • the eye is always drawn to where we need to see

i want to get better at knowing how colours will interact with each other

i find it really difficult to mix colours i like in my own work. even though i’m really opinionated about what colours are nice or not. help

we also all did a facial acting / emotive expression workshop with Charles Douglas, he was great and we all enjoyed it a lot. acting stuff is funnnnn
