Sundown

I saw this short film recently, what grabs me the most is the colour palette, it’s pretty much my exact favourite palette, all constrasting bold sunset colours. I also like the style a lot, it’s similar in a way to the style in the film Tekkonkinkreet. It also has the smears, and the exaggeration that I like, and some perspective stuff. Also interesting background characters like the people with the big animal heads. When they bump into those people it is really strongly reminiscent of Spirited Away. It’s got it all, babey!!
