LIAF Sting (Picnic): Storyboard feedback from Ariadna Fatjo-Vilas
I’m thrilled n’ amazed to discover that my pitch for the “from Absurd to Zany” category sting for LIAF has been selected :0
My team Haiqi and Vai and I all worked on the storyboard together yesterday. I gave Haiqi and Vai the general idea of each of their scenes, and the important actions within the scenes (which objects the character wore, his motivation etc haha), and asked them to board their ideas for them. Haiqi did the beach scene and Vai did the town scene. Both of them worked really hard and made great storyboards, and had really interesting and funny ideas.
I boarded the beginning to the sting and the city scene, and put the boards together to show the whole story. I had some ideas for changes in mind, but was interested in what Ariadna’s ideas would be before I edited it too much.
Haiqi, Vai, and I all attended the session and each of us talked about our ideas. I’m really happy with the team I got, they’re the best
Ariadna’s feedback was really helpful and she made a lot of important points, so we’ll be making changes according to this feedback. It was great hearing her perspective and the way the board initially read. I’m looking forward to making the amendments, and am feeling more excited (as opposed to a lil stressed) about the sting, now that we’ve got our rough boards sorted for the whole thing, and we’ve been given some professional feedback. 🙂
